Kinesiology is the science of human movement, applying the latest evidence based medicine principles to preserve and enhance human movement in all settings and populations. It is a multidisciplinary science that strives to be the leader in prevention of injury and chronic disease. Integral kinesiologists employ exercise as the tool for management of injury and chronic disease and are dedicated to improving athletic performance, health and the overall quality of life.
As university trained professionals, kinesiologists can help prevent and reduce the risk factors for some of the most common serious medical conditions that affect Canadians, such as coronary heart disease and diabetes. Integral kinesiologists know that exercise and physical activity are keys to a healthy life. This helps you recover from your injury properly and helps you move better, live longer and be healthier.
My physio session with Vincent was excellent! It was a relief and with no pain! After that I met Maddie, the kinesiologist. She was great and taught me some exercises to do at home. So far, I am very happy with the team and the place.
