Hello Integral Family,
First of all, we want to give a big THANK YOU to all of our amazing patients for staying home to help flatten the curve. It has been an interesting and fun learning experience providing treatments over Telehealth during this difficult time. But seeing some familiar faces, even virtually, has brought a smile to our face and has made the time go by quickly.
On April 30th, Premier Jason Kennedy announced that as early as May 4th some non-urgent services such as physiotherapy can re-open. Even though this is very exciting news, here at Integral Physiotherapy, your safety, health, and well-being are our top priorities.
Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hinshaw states that we must continue to social distance ourselves, continue to wash our hands, and stay home when you have any symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat or difficulty breathing.
We are excited to be opening our doors and will do so on May 11th. This extra week will allow us to make sure we have enough personal protective equipment, hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies for the clinic. We will also be reducing how many patients we will be seeing to ensure proper physical distancing between patients and staff in the clinic. This will reduce the amount of traffic and potential exposure to our clients. We will continue to see patients through Telehealth and provide exercises and guidance virtually during this time as well.
For those clients who see us in person, please do not attend the clinic if any of the following apply:
- You have been or suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19
- You have returned from travel outside of Canada in the last 14 days
- You or anyone else in your close social circle are ill
- You are immuno-suppressed
- If you are 65 years or older, please consider if this treatment is critical
We hope you all understand, and we appreciate your patience with us as we navigate through this together. Again, your well-being and health is our main concern and we want to ensure a clean, safe environment when you come in. Don’t worry you will still get all the bad Integral jokes and fun needle parties!
We look forward to seeing you soon,
The Integral Team
