Amal Kamal

(she/her/hers)

Meet Amal, your friendly neighborhood physiotherapist with a passion for helping people get back on their feet. Her journey into physiotherapy started close to home when both her siblings faced ACL tears from their soccer exploits, sparking her interest in rehabilitation. Having been a sports enthusiast herself, playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball, she’s no stranger to the ups and downs of physical activity and the importance of effective physiotherapy.

Amal’s personal experiences and love of science led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2020 before returning to her roots in Edmonton to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.

Her treatment approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, blending education, tailored exercise routines, and manual therapy to empower her clients to reclaim their active lifestyles. Whether you’re itching to get back on the field, eager to walk the dog pain-free, or just want to enjoy a good night’s sleep or a simple task like reaching for a coffee cup without discomfort, Amal is here to guide you every step of the way.

Beyond the clinic doors, Amal enjoys unwinding with her favorite pastimes, from catching a basketball game on TV to hitting the gym for some weightlifting, boxing, or Pilates. Amal loves exploring Alberta whether it is by hiking in the mountains or indulging in Edmonton’s vibrant food scene or being on the lookout for new ice-cream spots around town.
