When working with Jacqueline you will undoubtedly hear her favourite quote that sets the foundation for all of her work: “movement is medicine!” She is a positive and energetic physiotherapist with a great sense of humour who believes in a holistic and functional approach to help her clients achieve their goals and return to activities that are meaningful to them.
Jacqueline developed her passion for physical activity, the outdoors, and helping her community while growing up in a small town in Ontario. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam. After graduating in 2017, Jacqueline returned to Canada after her studies abroad and settled in Edmonton. She completed her Master’s of Science in Rehabilitation at the University of Alberta in 2019. Jacqueline has completed additional courses, such as IMS and acupuncture, which provide her with additional tools and strategies to help you return to your activities and achieve your goals more quickly.
In addition to her experience in private practice working with a wide variety of clients, Jacqueline works at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in orthopedic, paediatric and neurological rehabilitation. Jacqueline will be the first to advocate for the highest level of care for her clients to achieve their goals!
Jacqueline is also passionate about the wheelchair rugby community and is the only female to referee at the national level. She looks forward to continuing to motivate women to become officials and advocate for parasports. Outside of the office, Jacqueline enjoys jazz funk music, hiking, backcountry camping, rock climbing and being outdoors with her Portuguese Water Dog, Halo.
